The first ever LIVE A GREAT STORY Conference went down in Austin, TX and it was an incredibly energetic, connection-filled, idea-stimulating, pursuit-filled day to say the least!
With about 175 people packed into a late 1800's era house, the vibe was through the roof. Well actually most of the action went down outside since the weather was gorgeous.
The sun was out with clear skies and low humidity which made for a comfortable experience of sitting outside under tents in lounge chairs or inside the 120+ year old wooden-floored house.

KICKING OFF THE DAY
The day started under the 40x40 hexagon tent with founder Zach Horvath sharing an overview of the day, followed by Workshop Hosts giving a quick intro to their sessions.
One of the most energized part of the day was a spontaneous group huddle for the loudest break out "LIVE A GREAT CONFERENCE!"
Workshop Sessions
Each Workshop Session consisted of a 90-minute, small group workshop on a focused topic. They were 90 minutes to allow for plenty of time to connect, engage, learn and go deep on the topic.
Attendees picked one morning and one afternoon workshop.
The LIVE A GREAT STORY Conference isn't about sitting in the crowd and listening to someone from stage.
The whole idea is based on connecting with like-minded people through hands-on workshops so you can take action on your dreams with people on similar trajectories.

LUNCH "CREATE AND CONNECT" ACTIVATIONS
Healthy conversations and ideas don't happen without healthy fuel so that's exactly why we partnered with Prep To Your Door for an organic, plant-based, delicious lunch.
During lunch attendees connected through activations in collaboration with DayDreamer, Blended Sense and Good Society.
Day Dreamer set up an activation to encourage attendees to share their "biggest lesson learned". People put their lessons in envelopes, sealed them and then took another sealed envelope to reveal a lesson.
Good Society set up their yurt for a comfortable escape from the action where attendees could take a breather, eat fruits and chocolate and take time to connect with other guests.
Blended Sense hosted a headshot and video profile activation where attendees could shoot headshots and then share a quick part of their story on video.

The first-ever LIVE A GREAT STORY Conference was one for the books. To have so many inspiring, high-vibe people in one space connecting around their pursuit, impact and long term visions was incredibly energizing for everyone involved.
Undoubtedly this one-day experience created ripples of inspiration that spread around the world... and to think it was only the first!
The 2020 LIVE A GREAT STORY Conference is already in the works!

Looks like a fun time, right?! It was even better than it looks.
What can't be conveyed with photos is the feeling of the day. The energy at The House was turned up to the max.

- Coffee, lunch and beer meetups were getting organized
At the foundation of The Conference was the idea that a "rising tide lifts all ships" and that all of us, together, can make a massive impact that benefits everyone.
The energy was pure. The connections were real. The impact was massive.
